Helping the birds when it snows

It is important to keep the bird feeder clear of snow and ice and topped up with high energy food.  Eli went out this morning to check everything was topped up.

  3. It's brilliant to see you helping local wildlife!

We're all very impressed here at the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust!

Try hanging up pine cones covered in peanut butter next- the birds will love it!

  4. It's great that you are doing your bit for the birds during this freezing weather Eli! You could also try making some bird cake, which gives birds the energy they really need at this time of year. http://www.rspb.org.uk/youth/makeanddo/activities/birdcake.asp

And don't forget that fresh water is very important!

    Keep up the good work!
