Let's Go Fly A Kite!

Today a group of children from Key Stage 2 were lucky enough to take part in a kite making workshop. The session was led by people from Oxfam who came to talk to the children about the injustice of global hunger. The children thoroughly enjoyed designing the kites and came up with some inspiring messages to support the cause.

On Friday 22nd March all the Otley schools will be taking part in a kite flying festival at Wharfemeadows Park where the children will be able to show off their colourful designs and do their bit to support other people who are less fortunate.

Superstar Trip

Every year, the children at Ashfield are rewarded for their outstanding behaviour with an amazing trip. This year the 'superstars' visited Scarborough. They went to the Sealife Centre and the beach and had (as you will see) a truly wonderful time!

Elm Class During Health Week

During Health Week we were lucky enough to take part in lots of different activities. Mrs Featherstone organised something for us everyday to help us stay healthy.

We also did some work in our lessons to encourage us to stay fit and healthy, including some measures and estimating work in our maths lessons.

Elm Class Caribbean Carnival Assembly!

Elm class performed their assembly for the rest of the school. It was all based around the theme of Caribbean Carnivals. We throroughly enjoyed showing everyone what we have been learning about in class and we hope you enjoyed watching our performance...
