Today Beech class benefitted from an Outside-Water Safety presentation by Leeds City Council, and learnt how to be safe around rivers, lakes, the sea and other open water.

what a fantastic idea. For more information on safety for children the HSSA has a great section for Teachers. Resources are free to down load http://www.education.hssa.co.uk/ . As far as I know you dont have to be a member or anything.
